I don't feel old enough to have an 8 year old Granddaughter, but indeed I do. On June 6, 2009 Madison choose to be baptised. It was also her 8th birthday making it a very special day. Thanks to many family members and friends who supported her. Here are just a few of the photos I took. Kim who is a far superior photographer took some as well.Heather did an amazing job pulling everything together. It was lovely.....Thanks to one and all for all your help and support.

MY TRAVELS

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE to travel. Short trips, long trips, far trip, near trips, I love them all. I always keep a suitcase near by. This year started out with some training in New Orleans. I love the history in New Orleans and the people. I also got to go to Washington DC and I have to say it was a humbling experience. I had been there in 1979, and seen allot, but I really took advantage of this opportunity. On to New York with my sister Susan....We hit 2 Broadway plays, Rickshaw ride around Central Park, Rock on the top, great food. I loved it all, I even got to go thru Boston (had to say that) and count it on my state list! Yes I keep a list of the states I have been in. Lake Powell was a first with grandkids and young nieces and nephews. Mom was there and a great sport as always. And last but surely not least San Francisco. I can say that I love San Francisco and really feel at home there. In my next life I'm going to request going there!
