My GraTitude AttiTude... A Season for Giving Thanks

With Thanksgiving right around the corner I can't help but feel THANKFUL for so many things. Tonight my little granddaughter Jane made me these beautiful flowers. She made them herself out of paper and pipe cleaners. No help from her Mom , she just figured out how to make them (with a little help from the TV!) How lucky am I? After a horrible and stressful day at work, and then an unexpected surprise from Jane. What a way to end my day.....I am so Thankful for Jane and Max and Madison. Grand kids really do make my world go round.

I'm going to try my hardest during this season of Thanksgiving to give thanks. I'll post what I can here and share with the few people who know I have this blog! And Ruth I'm thankful for you, and I'm keeping your sweet Mom in my prayers.

MY TRAVELS

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE to travel. Short trips, long trips, far trip, near trips, I love them all. I always keep a suitcase near by. This year started out with some training in New Orleans. I love the history in New Orleans and the people. I also got to go to Washington DC and I have to say it was a humbling experience. I had been there in 1979, and seen allot, but I really took advantage of this opportunity. On to New York with my sister Susan....We hit 2 Broadway plays, Rickshaw ride around Central Park, Rock on the top, great food. I loved it all, I even got to go thru Boston (had to say that) and count it on my state list! Yes I keep a list of the states I have been in. Lake Powell was a first with grandkids and young nieces and nephews. Mom was there and a great sport as always. And last but surely not least San Francisco. I can say that I love San Francisco and really feel at home there. In my next life I'm going to request going there!
